The thrilling political drama from Netflix, House of Cards, has revealed some pretty interesting spoilers for the fourth season. Aside from developments on the divorce of the series' main character President Frank Underwood (played by Kevin Spacey) from his wife Claire (played by Robin Wright), another spoiler regarding a potential major character death in the series has also been hinted by the cast and crew members of the series.

House of Cards is quite popular for killing of major characters and with this trend in the series, fans are speculating which character that the series Executive producer Beau Willimon will be killing off again in House of Cards season four. According to Yibada, there have been hints that Doug Samper (played by Michael Kelly) will be the next character to be cut off from the series. Samper, who is Frank Underwood's chief of staff and loyal confidant, was almost killed off during one of the earlier seasons. This happened sometime around season two when Rachel Posner (played by Rachel Brosnahan) nearly killed Samper after hitting him on the death. Samper lived, of course, and even managed to exact his revenge on Posner when it appeared as if he had buried her alive in season three.

Despite reports of character death, it has been reported by the International Business Times that House of Cards season 4 will be welcoming new cast members. Although there were no announcements regarding which characters will these new actors be playing in season four, it has been revealed that one of the new cast members, Neve Campbell, have signed up to become a regular on the series.

Meanwhile, as for the fans who are excited for conflicts on the upcoming season, the show's producers have mentioned that they can surely expect not just Doug and Rachel's feud to heat things up on the new season, but Frank and Claire's as well. Movie News Guide even mentions how this season 4 will be more intense than ever not only because of the developments on the divorce, but because of the impending election season that will probably be part of the season four's storyline as well.

House of Cards is expected to make a comeback on Netflix early 2016.
