The promotional teaser videos for Teen Wolf Season 5 Episode 6 reveal that Stiles will quite possibly be reunited with his mother Claudia as the episode will also further explain how she died in the past. In addition, Stiles will also be experiencing some post-traumatic stress caused by his near-death encounter with Donovan. This will quite possibly affect his relationship with his friends and even with his girlfriend Malia.

The previous episode of Teen Wolf showed that Stiles(played by Dylan O' Brien) quite nearly escaped getting killed by the Dread Doctors' creation. As recapped by the Latin Post, while Stiles has defeated Donovan (played by Ashton Moio), Scott McCall (played by Tyler Posey) and his pack have unlocked even more of the Dread Doctors' secrets through the character Vallack (played by Steven Brand). On the other hand, Theo (played by Cody Christian) and Malia (played by Shelley Hennig) have gotten closer in the last episode despite the incident that happened during episode four.

Series creator Jeff Davis also had some pretty interesting revelations as to what fans can expect for the next episode. According to Davis, as reported by Realty Today, a mother-son reunion might be in the works for the new episode. Davis said that while the Teen Wolf squad is in the middle of investigating a mysterious book, some flashbacks will be thrown in throughout the whole scenario, including flashbacks of Stiles' mother, Claudia. If fans could recall, it was revealed in season three how Stiles was with his mother during at her deathbed. However for this episode, fans can look forward to knowing more about just what it was that caused her death.

While one relationship gets mended in the new episode, Design and Trend have reported that Scott and Kira's relationship might be on the rocks. Some serious relationship distance might be created by Kira(played by Arden Cho) herself as she believes that her closeness to Scott can only harm him. In addition, Stiles' trauma after killing Donovan could quite possibly also affect his relationship with Malia.

Teen Wolf Season 5 Episode 6 entitled 'Required Reading' is set to air on MTV this July 27.
