Time jump is becoming a trend for some TV series, but not in the case of 'Grimm' season 5. In recent interviews, cast members reveal that the show is currently not following the style. But the show will feature a little reboot in the next season. And, Rosalee's addition returns and brings more chaos.

'Grimm' season 5 will pick up right where the season 4 ended. The upcoming season will certainly focus on Nick and the aftermath of the bloody fourth season.

As fans expected, Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) will be more of a bad guy in season 5 as he seeks vengeance. Season 4 left Nick in pain, as he lost his mother and his girlfriend Juliette.  But his bad guy persona will be distracted by his son, according to Franchise Herald.

His son will be Nick's ultimate reason to move on with his life. According to producers David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf, his soon-to-be born baby with Adalind Schade (Claire Coffee) will be his "saving grace".

In addition to his character's direction next season, actor Giuntoli said to Access Hollywood that the show will be heading to a new path this October.

"There's a reboot this year! A little bit of a reboot, get ready for THAT, America!" he laughed. "Wrap your head around the reboot."

But when asked if there will be a time jump, actor said in an interview with TV Line that 'Grimm' season 5 is not following the trend.

"No time jump whatsoever," Giuntoli said. He explained that fans will see him exactly where the Season 4 finale left off.

Meanwhile, Rosalee will go through difficult times in the upcoming season of 'Grimm'. Bree Turner, who plays the role, said, "Rosalee's addictions come back, and cause some major problems with the couple."
