The HTC One M9 smartphone for 2015 seemed to have disappointed fans for seeing it as nothing short of boring. Thus the HTC's CEO  uncovered their plans to make substantial improvements to the innovation and design of its 2016 One M10 flagship.

The One M9 aka Hima flagship and One M9 were announced by HTC in MWC 2015 in March and are available now in stores. However, the sales of One M9 are declining now because of its overheating problem due to the Snapdragon 810 chipset.

Even if the HTC One M9 is beautiful and powerful, reports say that it's still a little bit disappointing. With a middling camera and downgraded battery, an overly familiar design and feature set it couldn't carry on HTC's run of five star reviews.

This device has only improved some of the internals, made the camera around back square, and added a new two-tone color to the aluminum design, but the phone is just identical from its previous model.  It was Déjà vu from 2014, though, it could have been a great phone.

Therefore, the HTC is certainly in need to make some soul-searching and work out how to come back with a bang once it launches the One M10. The HTC CEO Cher Wang added that they'll make some major changes and offer something different moving forward, nonetheless, avoid making the mistake they did this year.

According to current rumors, HTC will be utilizing a Snapdragon 820 SoC in the forthcoming One M10 flagship. The Snapdragon 820 chipset was announced by Qualcomm in MWC 2015 in March.

Moreover, the HTC One M10 is being speculated for featuring 64/128 GB internal memory, 4 GB Ram, 27 MP Rear Camera, 5 MP Front Camera and 5 inches Display with 4K resolution. Another rumor states that the HTC One M10 will support wireless charging. That's not incredibly shocking since wireless charging is rising in popularity; however this is a feature which the One M9 doesn't have.

According to IB Times, the HTC One M10 is expected to be released between the fall season of this year and March 2016 after completing the current flagship smartphone One M9 year-cycle in the market.
