"Supernatural" is set to make season 11 another epic season as the cast and crew will already start filming by the end of next week. The crew is reportedly looking for the best locations in order to shoot the adventures of the show's protagonists who are to take on a new threat this coming season.

The Winchester brothers, Dean and Sam, will be introducing a new character named Amara who will be the threat faced by the brothers. According to Realty Today, she possesses an acid tongue and a seductive beauty. The description of the new character just spells trouble all over for the two stars of the show.

According to the publication, Amara might have been summoned to Earth after "The Darkness" was released in the final episode of Season 10. The actress who will be playing the role of the new character is yet to be determined.

Also, one of the show's episodes will be directed by their very own Jensen Ackles, who plays one of the Winchester brothers. According to Christian Today, Ackles will be the one directing the third episode of "Supernatural" Season 11 entitled "The Bad Seed."

Ackles announced this great news over his Twitter page after he took a plane ride selfie and posted it in his account. This is not the first time that Ackles will be involved in directing the show as he already did so in the past seasons. Earlier this year, it has been reported that Ackles will no longer be part of "Supernatural" Season 11 but this has been dismissed after it was stated that he was not in the Comic Con recently because he had to be with his family, Franchise Herald reported.

Fans of "Supernatural" could also meet their idols at the San Diego Comic Con this July 11 as the panel consists of Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins, Mark Sheppard as well as executive producer Jeremy Carver. "Supernatural" Season 11 will be debuting this October 7 on CW.
