Kaplan Ventures Leads Series B Financing for Treehouse

The Series B Preferred financing round of Treehouse Island, the online coding education platform, raised a sum of US $7 Million. The funding round was headed by Kaplan Ventures with the participation of The Social+Capital Partnership.

Treehouse has employed full-time teachers which has left the competition biting the dust. All teachers/instructors are with professional experience that helped develop premium quality of instructional content for the firm.  The premium quality of service Treehouse provided resulted in attaining the customer milestone of 25,000 active students this year. The company's business model has been accepted that resulted to its increase of active student base.
