Until Dawn made a very good impression during the Electronic Entertainment Expo which was held just last week. The Supermassive Games horror title was featured in a few demo booths in the event where avid gamers got to try out the Butterfly Effect mode of the game, where choices the user makes will shape the story. With the game arriving in August 25, fans are looking forward to how the game will feel like once they get the whole of it.

In a recent coverage of Until Dawn, it mentioned that the developer estimates the game to be about 9 hours in length. Of course, this will vary considerably depending on which characters survive and which ones find their demise. There will be a total of 8 characters in the game and all of them have the chance to live or die. With that in mind, there will be more than 9 hours to enjoy the game as one can go around and around to explore the different possibilities.

During the E3 2015, it was apparent that Until Dawn was not one of the highlighted games for the Sony booths. The game had only 8 stations, whereas Battlefront, for instance, had a good 2 floors for attendees to enjoy in.

In a review from LazyGamer based on the demo, Until Dawn was found to be a standout among interactive adventure games. Since the title is mostly about having QTEs and making choices, it was the believable graphics and animations that set the mood to become dark and horrific. At the same time, the decisions to be made aren't as simple as one would think.

Until Dawn is slated for release in August 25, 2015. Upon arrival in stores, it is already set as a completed game - meaning no DLCs are intended to arrive for gameplay enhancements and additions. This means that fans will all the more get a more thrilling experience of the title as they have everything handed to them from the very start.
