The sixth season finale of "Community" just aired this month, making every scene of it fresh to every fan's mind. Followers of the series since its beginning for sure want to complete the second half of the #SixSeasonsAndAMovie hashtag. And it seems like the movie is more likely to happen since most of the casts are now moving on to other projects.

Reports giving update about Dan Harmon's "Community" continuously swirl online. The fate of sitcom remains uncertain since the both doors for season 7 and a movie seem to be open.

During the ultimate episode of "Community" season 6, the beloved study group seems to be spitballing ideas of how a season 7 will look like, somehow teasing the fans of the possible continuation of their story, which started on NBC six years ago.

However, according to Screen Crush, "Community" season 7 is a farfetched idea since most of the casts are finally ready to move on to new projects. Ken Jeong now has a new series under ABC titled, "Dr. Ken," Danny Pudi reconciles with NBC, and Gillian Jacobs is tied up with Netflix for "Love."

Just recently, Gillian Jacobs admits to TVLine, "In previous years, I've always been in denial, like, 'No, we're coming back!' [But] this year, our contracts are up. The future is very uncertain."

She adds, "And, for once, it's not because of network disdain or lack of interest. We've just done it for six years and there's a very different feeling."

Joel McHale, who has played Jeff Winger, has aired his willingness to continue the story of Greendale to movie if creator Dan Harmon decides to write a script. However, Harmon seems to be taking a break from reality as he tweeted about his disappearance from social media on the day the season 6 finale premiered.

Whether it's another season or a movie, fans will surely support any "Community" continuation. It is sure to be fun to see the study group together once again as they have become one of the best ensembles on television.

Which do you prefer though, a season 7 or a movie? We want to know so leave a comment below.
