Marvel's live-action adaptation of "Doctor Strange" is not going to hit the cinemas until November next year which means it might take a while before its first official trailer will be rolled out to the public. To pump the fans for the real thing, YouTuber David Johns created a 40-seconder trailer for the forthcoming movie, featuring a bearded Benedict Cumberbatch and a covered version of The Doors' "People are Strange".

Combining various clips from other properties, David Johns created a well-received fan teaser of Marvel's "Doctor Strange". It features a bearded Benedict Cumberbatch who is set to play the role of the brilliant surgeon, Stephen Strange. The 48-second footage illustrates the doctor's origin as an overoptimistic neurosurgeon that according to AV Club pursues more knowledge from a supernatural source after badly injuring his hands.

Screen Crush reports that the video also features convincing shots particularly Tilda Swinton's which appeared majestically and spectral as the Ancient One. Another notable thing in the teaser was the music box version of The Door's "People are Strange" playing in the background. The genre can be compared to the slow-down and haunting version of Pinocchio's "Ive Got No Strings" which was featured in the trailer of "Avengers: Age of Ultron".

Marvel's forthcoming film "Doctor Strange" is penned by Thomas Dean Donelly and Joshua Openheimer ("Sahara", "Conan the Barbarian", and Jon Spaihts ("Prometheus"). Apart from Cumberbatch ("Sherlock", "The Imitation Game"), the movie will also star Tilda Swinton ("Michael Clayton", "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe") as the Ancient One. As per Coming Soon's report, Chiwetel Ejiofor ("12 Years A Slave", "Z for Zachariah") is also negotiated to star in the movie as the film's villain.

Directed by Scott Derickson, "Doctor Strange" is slated to hit the big screen November 4, 2016.
