CD Projekt RED just fulfilled its promise as it continues to roll out updates and DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

The developer has just revealed the new quest named Fool's Gold and a neutral Gwent card set named Ballad Heroes. The teaser image shows a wooden pig and the item undeniably involved in the quest in some way, as everyone knows that the game is provided all sorts of quests, from hunting monsters to the mundane tasks like searching for a goat and leading it home.

The new contents are part of the developer's 16 free expansion updates which were announced earlier by the developer saying that they intend to expand the game by giving players with DLCs. The developer has already rolled out new looks for characters by allowing players to customize items like hair styles, beards and other customization items. They have updated quests and new missions, new weapons and armor, and all of these are free of charge.

Here's the instruction on how to obtain The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt FREE DLCs on respective platforms.

2. Purchase the "FREE DLC PROGRAM" item from there (you will not be charged).
3. In the "More"/"Configure" menu you can choose "Available Content", which will show the DLCs - tick them, and Galaxy will download them automatically.

2. If you have downloaded the DLCs but they still aren't displayed in the game, restart Steam.

Playstation 4:
DLCs are displayed as "Add-Ons" on the game's page on PSN.

Xbox One:
DLCs are displayed as "Downloadable Content" on the game's page on the Xbox Live store.

CD Projekt Red also released a major patch in addition to the rollout of the free DLCs which introduced some major improvements in the gameplay, design, and addressed some glitches and bugs in the game.

The most notable fix of the patch is the Bovine Defense Force Initiative, which  CD Projekt RED has implemented an anti-exploit measure to discourage players to accumulate cash by perpetually slaying hordes of cows and sell their hides to merchants. The patch solves the glitch by introducing a huge monster that appears every time the player intends to respawn the cows.
