While Avengers: Age of Ultron had just made another blockbuster hit out of itself, the Avengers will appear in the big screen once again in Avengers: Infinity War Part I and II. Both movies will be filmed back to back, and thus will probably take 9 months to finish.

Although there are other Marvel movies to be released in between Avengers: Infinity War Part I and II, Captain America himself, Chris Evans, dished that they will be filming both movies back to back. "We start [Captain America: Civil War] in a couple weeks, and then that shoots until August or something like that. August or September, then I've got some downtime and I can do with it as I please...And then we start the Infinity War, I think, some time in the third quarter. Fall or winter of 2016. That's going to be like nine months to shoot both movies back to back." Evans said.

Avengers: Infinity War will be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, and written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely who also wrote the script for Captain America: The First Avenger, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

While nothing has been officially announced yet, rumors say that Avengers: Infinity War will feature new line-up of Avengers. War Machine (Don Cheadle), Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), Scarlett Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), and Falcon (Anthony Mackie) will be part of the new team of Avengers, as they will be headed by Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Captain America (Chris Evans).

In Avengers: Infinity War, the heroes will reportedly come to fight Thanos who will somehow be  able to gather all the Infinity gems. It is no secret that he has been trying to find ways to gather all six powerful gems and has been using different characters (Like Loki for example), to do the task. Rumors say that he will be able to gather the gems later on by himself, and so the Avengers will be the ones who will try to stop him.

2 of the Infinity gems, namely Time and Soul gems, hasn't appeared in any of Marvel movies yet, but reports say that they will featured in Doctor Strange and Thor 3: Ragnarok.

Avengers: Infinity War will hit theaters in May 4, 2018, while Part II will be in May 3, 2019.
