Fans are questioning if Iron Man 3 will be last we see Tony Stark on a solo movie. Well, Tony Stark himself have answered the question regarding Iron Man 4 and none of the fans will like the answer.

Robery Downey Jr. has confirmed there are no talks about Iron Man 4 as of the moment and Marvel is still keeping mum about the subject.

Robert Downey Jr. said to Variety in the interview that "there isn't one in the pipe."

"No, there's no plan for a fourth Iron Man," he concluded.

People are speculating that Marvel is not that eager for another Iron Man movie because in the past negotiations in the contracts between Marvel and Robert Downey Jr., the latter was always the one who's in the upper hand.

In The Avengers alone, the actor made Marvel to pay him $50 million including bonuses and backend compensation. He also got the same fee for the third installment of Iron Man.

Some people speculate that Robert Downey Jr. might have raised his original $50 million contract since Iron Man 3 was a huge success. Iron Man 3 became the 7th all-time top grossing film in history, raking a total of $1.22 billion.

But fans need not fret because there's a huge chance that Marvel will still push with Iron Man 4. Everyone knows that the Iron Man franchise is a huge hit and there is no way that Marvel would let go of that opportunity. Despite Robert Downey Jr. partly bringing the success of the franchise, there is a rumor that there will be a new Iron Man and it is Harley Keener, played by Ty Simpkins.

That's pretty unlikely, though with Robert Downey Jr. fanbase. Right now, RDJ is in Atlanta filming for Captain America: Civil War.

While waiting for Iron Man 4, we can still watch Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark or Iron Man in the upcoming movies: Captain America: Civil War in 2016, Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 in 2018 and Avengers: Infinity War Part 2" in 2019.
