The upcoming superhero film "Deadpool" may have been idle for the past years but, since the premiere date is forthcoming, things are already stirring up a bit as it was recently reported that Wolverine himself might have a cameo role in the Ryan Reynolds-starring film. Meanwhile, a new look of the "Merc With A Mouth" in action has been released lately.

In an interview with News.com.au for his upcoming project "Woman in Gold," Ryan Reynolds, who plays Wade Wilson also known as Deadpool, expressed his interest to have Hugh Jackman cameo as Wolverine in the film. The actor gushed about how he loves the idea but it isn't in his hands to do so.

"God I hope so, that would be really nice," Reynolds said. "I dunno, we'll see. It seems like he's open to it, but it's gonna be more of a scheduling issue than anything else." The actor went on to confirm that FOX and Jackman's management are trying to get Wolverine to cameo in the upcoming film but are only having problems on the schedules of both the Weapon X mutants, iDigital Times noted.

Wolverine and Deadpool have been best of enemies in Marvel's comics. Back in March, an interview with Hugh Jackman in MTV News also supported this cause. The "X-Men" actor told that he would be open to the idea. Likewise, the pair has already starred in 2009's "X-Men Origins: Wolverine." However, it appeared like Deadpool isn't at the movie at all, and fans didn't love the collaboration between the two. As for the fans' request, Jackman must pursue this partnership anew considering he's on for the third "Wolverine" film and will be leaving the iconic role soon.

Meanwhile, a new look of the "Merc With A Mouth" or Deadpool himself has been revealed on Saturday, via Comic Book. The new look was featured in the scans from the latest issue of Empire Magazine showing Reynolds in costume and the behind-the-scenes image of the filming process in Vancouver.

In the first pic, Deadpool was seen holding two pistols in one hand while sauntering in a slippery road, while in the second photo, the crew was snapped filming the scene and are accompanied by some gory elements in the hood of a car.

Directed by Tim Miller from a script by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, "Deadpool" is set to debut on February 12, 2016. The cast includes Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, Gina Carano, and TJ Miller. What do you think of the upcoming film so far? Leave some of your insights on the comments section.
