With Disney officially announced the development of Frozen 2 two months ago, movie fans have been guessing how the story will progress, along with potential love story angles and even love triangles.

Chris Buck, popular animator and screenwriter and co-director of Frozen, sat down with ABC News for an interview last week and admitted how they already have a terrific ending to the sequel "Frozen 2", He mentioned how knowing the ending now has helped the team go forward, even though there's still a lot to the story that needs to be figured out.   

This brought out a lot of speculations in movie fans as to how the story will progress, and die hard followers of Frozen were not shy in voicing out what they think are the possible plot twists and love pairings.   Some of the fans suggestions includes a cameo of Elsa and Anna's parents -- either as part of a memory or even as a ghost or spirit, Anna developing her own powers which would be able to neutralize Elsa's icy talents, an introduction of a female villain who will go head-to-head against the sisters. Finally, Elsa will have a chance at love similar to how Anna found true love.

But what's interesting are the ideas of love pairings for Frozen 2.  Fans are hoping to see Anna and Kristoff's love story blossoming in this sequel.  There are also ideas of how a contrite Prince Hans will return to Arendelle bent on proving how he's had a change of heart and hopefully will turn into Elsa's true love.   There are also suggestions to have Jack Frost from "The Rise of The Guardian's" cross over to Frozen 2 to become a potential love match for Elsa.  Even the goofy and loveable Olaf was not spared as a candidate for the ice queen's love interest, given his ability to communicate so well with the humans and exemplify the meaning of selflessness and true love.

All these are fan suggestions and speculations since the Frozen 2 team is still working on the story.  But what's definite is that movie fans will have a long wait before Frozen 2 will hit theaters. Disney still has a few more movies lined up including another animated film entitled "Moana" to be shown on November 2016.

Frozen 2 is expected to be released in 2018.
