Jurassic World fans have been waiting for a clear look at the Indominus Rex- the new hybrid dinosaur that serves as the film's main dino villain- for what seems like years now. And Universal finally gave in and gave the people what they wanted. In the strangest way possible. A new ad has just given away a very clear look at the Indominus Rex... but that ad is a piece of Mercedes-Benz product placement!

In the ad (revealed on the official Mercedes-Benz twitter account), the car manufacturer's new GLE Coupe sits on the edge of a cliff in a dense jungle. On the opposite end of the image, the Indominus Rex's head emerges from the trees, and seems to be sizing up the very out-of-place shiny silver car. As glimpsed before in previous teases and trailers, the Indominus Rex is a light grey/brown color, with spines all along its neck and forehead. It's eyes are beady and red and its teeth are yellowed and fit together crookedly.

The most recent theatrical trailer for Jurassic World gave audiences a pretty decent look at the film's brand-new beast. In the trailer, the I-Rex could be seen charging away from a crashing helicopter, snatching up a couple of very unlocky security guards, and roaring at its fellow dinosaurs (which seem to respond and follow its orders... a very bad sign for the human inhabitants of Jurassic World).

But it's a little strange that Universal would release the first major still of the Indominus Rex in a car commercial. The monster was also seen on the cover of Empire Magazine recently, but this pic seems even clearer. Meanwhile, another new trailer highlights the other new additions Jurassic World is bringing to the Jurassic Park franchise- plenty of aquatic and flying dinos to be found within. Jurassic World unleashes the I-Rex on June 12, 2015.
