Lionsgate teases everyone with the new poster of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" displayed during the conjunction with the Cannes Film Festival. Meanwhile, producer Robin de Levita will spearhead "The Hunger Games" musical which could possibly launch Katniss and Gale's romantic relationship.

The new poster for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" is finally out which only made both fans of the book series and the movie franchise go wild. Katniss and Primrose Everdeen can be seen in the gothic-inspired poster.

What's so hunting about it is their expressions that exhibit both fear and bravery. Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) is wearing her black battle gear while standing behind a sitting Prim (Willow Shields).

Lionsgate also released an official synopsis of "Mockingjay Part 2" that says the movie will center on Katniss and President Snow's final showdown. Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin), and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) will also risk their lives to help the Mockingjay as they stage an assassination attempt on Snow. Fans of the book series already know that the final movie sequel will not end as happy as everyone is hoping it would be.

"The Hunger Games" franchise has proven its supremacy in the YA genre with a possible prequel and now a confirmed musicale.

According to a report, Suzanne Collins' books series will now be adapted to the stage headed by producer Robin de Levita. The Games and all the chaos will be displayed on a 360-degree rotating stage with a 1,300 seater near Wembley Stadium.

Now that Katniss Everdeen's story will be translated to live theater, will the producers give the Katniss-Gale love story a chance to bloom? Even Jennifer Lawrence agrees that there is more to their story that should be tackled.

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" hints the dark story that the final sequel will reveal. Now that the movie franchise is about to close, a musical based on Suzanne Collins' book series will continue its success. The last movie installment of "The Hunger Games" will hit cinemas on November 20.
