Allen Iverson is not one for shying away from commentary, but this time, the former NBA superstar issues a proclamation of humility as he acknowledges that two young players, Stephen Curry and Kyrie Irving, may be better than him in one particular department.

According to The Answer himself, both Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry and Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving have better handles than him. Iverson made the claim in a Showtime documentary. He claims that both Curry and Irving are on the next level in terms of their handles, according to Bleacher Report.

Curry, who won this year's regular season MVP award, and Irving, who won the 2014 NBA All-Star Game MVP, are certainly stellar ball handlers in their own right, and considering that both of their teams are still alive in the 2015 postseason, it also looks as though those handles are not just for show.

Still, Iverson was an extraordinary ball handler during his heyday, and it's more than likely that both Curry and Irving benefited from getting the chance to see him work his magic with the ball when he was still in the league, according to CBS Sports. Iverson and Curry even had the change to go one on one back in 2009 when Curry's Warriors took on Iverson's 76ers, according to Ball is Life.

Using that game as a point of comparison for the two players' respective handles would be unfair though, as Curry was just a rookie back then, while Iverson was on his way out of the league.

Irving never even got a chance to go at Iverson, as he entered the league after Iverson had already tired. The truth is that this debate probably does not have a definitive answer, but what is clear is that all three players are magicians with the basketball in their hands. 

Perhaps this is just Iverson's way of saying those two remind him of himself.
