At last, fans who are excited for Street Fighter V release will be happy to hear that they will be able to get their hands on the new game at least less than a year from now. Capcom has revealed in their company's financial report that it will launch during the company's current fiscal year which ends March 31, 2016.

This means that the anticipated fighting game could be out sometime between now and the last day of March next year. This seems consistent with the rumor that the game will be released on Spring, Gamespot reported.

The financial report also outlines sales expectation the game to be around 2 million copies of the game. The target includes sales in both physical and digital formats of the game. The game will be released for the PC and Playstation 4 only. It would mean that Capcom expects to reach that number of sales by the end of the fiscal year. And to do that, they need more time to reach that goal, so fans will most likely see the game sooner before March 31st, 2016.

Street Fighter V has been anticipated by many fans, since it's been a long time since a fresh new game from the Street Fighter series is out.

But some fans were showing their disappointments after they watched the game played live for the first time by Street Fighter pro gamers Daigo and GamerBee in a Street Fighter 5 exhibition match at the Taipei Game Show in February. The disappointments were much about the slow gameplay footage and other game details.

But Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono, during the Capcom Cup, assured the Street Fighter fans that the new game will be a next-gen fighting game. "We've been hard at work on Street Fighter 5, and we promise this game, this product, will be the one that brings fighting games into the next era," said Ono, speaking in Japanese through a translator. "This will be a huge step for us and our community," Ono added.

Game pundits and gamers alike are also speculating that Street Fighter V being a PS4 Exclusive title, Sony would unveil a surprise E3 teaser at the prestigious US Event this June that will give fans a taste of what to expect early next year.
