Madden NFL  16 revealed that EA Sports will be including Odell Beckham Jr. for the game cover. He is even considered one of the youngest cover athletes that were featured for the video game.

This was announced through the game developer's recent votation for the next cover athlete to feature for Madden NFL 16 PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One gameplay. From the two top choices namely, Rob Gronkowski, the New England's tight end was being beaten out by Odell Beckham, Jr. who was just a 22-year old true playmaker.

Since he was considered a perfect fit for this game, Rand Chase, who is the senior director of EA Sports, said that Beckham is really an unstoppable force in the field that is why he is one of the most anticipated athletes for the coming years. Thus, he deserved to have himself in the cover as a way to vindicate fans to watch him along his future games.

Odell Beckham Jr. has emerged together with Rob Gronkowski from the four of the top listed football players in the said voting results. Aside from the two, there were names appeared like Patrick Peterson, cornerback of Arizona Cardinalis and Antonio Brown, the wide receiver from the Pittsburgh Steelers.

These names appeared from the list based from the voting results for the next Madden NFL 16 cover. However, Beckham surpassed all of them and was even considered as the first New York Giants player and at the same the youngest cover athlete at 22. With his receiving this kind of opportunity from EA, he was mentioned to have received that with humility.

He was just in a year in the field of football yet, he was given this big chance to be in the cover. According to records, for his one year in this sport, he has gathered 1,305 receiving yards, with 12 touchdowns in 12 games. He also has the dramatic, one-handed touchdown reception against another great Dallas Cowboys.

With that, he deserved to be in the next Madden NFL 16 gameplay as the most anticipated cover athlete with EA Tiburon, who developed this gameplay. This gameplay will launch this coming August 25 for both the next-generation consoles and the old-generation consoles, in PS4, Xbox One, PS3, and Xbox 360 respectively.
