'Chicago Fire' season 3 update: Casey Missing, Gabby pregnant; Season 4 confirmed

Chicago Fire is about to end season 3 with another thrilling episode entitled "Spartacus." The episode left the fans with a missing Casey and pregnant Gabby. 

It looks like not only the relationship of Gabriela and Matt is in danger but also the life of Matt as he went undercover to get intel on Jack Nesbitt's suspected human trafficking operation and is now missing. Meanwhile Gabriela found out that she is pregnant and wanting to tell Matt the good news went to his apartment only to find it in chaos, Katia dead on the floor and Matt gone.   

On the previous episode of the show, Voight, after talking to the strip club owner, found out about the women trafficking case they are about to solve and told Matt Casey about it leading Matt to undercover and risk his life.

The show premiered its third season on September 23, 2014 at 10pm on NBC television network and is set to end on May 12. Also, the show is set to have a spin off entitled "Chicago Med" which was shown on the episode 19 of the show. 

Chicago Fire follows the lives of the firefighters and paramedics working as the Chicago Fire Department as the firehouse of Engine 51, Truck 81, Squad 3, Ambulance 61 and Battalion 25. Season 3 paved way for new rivalries and conflicts as well as love interests among the characters and it seems like the show has more to offer.

NBC confirmed that Chicago Fire will be back for another season although the release date is still in talks, the production staff assured the fans that the show will have season four. Chicago Fire proved it's popularity and success after its second season finale garnered 9,700,000 viewers and ranked number 31 in the audience share for TV Season 2013-2014.

According to TVLine Chicago Fire is a "procedural poised to launched 1,000 spin-offs" and it looks like they are proving it with the upcoming release of Chicago Med. Hicago Fire will join other renewed series on NBC such as Grimm and Chicago P.D
