Ross Smith Asset Management Inc. announces that the investment funds it manages have acquired 3,000 common shares of C.A. Bancorp Inc. since a take-over bid for all of the issued and outstanding shares of C.A. Bancorp. was filed by CDJ Global Catalyst LLC with the securities regulatory authorities on January 21, 2013. The Shares were acquired through the facilities of the Toronto Stock Exchange.

As a result of the acquisition of the Shares, RSAM now beneficially owns and exercises control and direction over 783,800 Shares of C.A. Bancorp, representing approximately 6.39% of the 12,269,280 issued and outstanding Shares as of September 30, 2012 as per C.A. Bancorp's Management Discussion and Analysis dated November 5, 2012, which represents the most recent publicly available information about the total number of issued and outstanding Shares.

RSAM acquired the Shares for investment purposes only and may, depending on market and other conditions, increase or decrease its beneficial ownership, control or direction over, shares or other securities of C.A. Bancorp through market transactions, private agreements or otherwise.
