Booz & Co. has announced an agreement it signed to buy Duesseldorf, Germany-based international consulting firm Management Engineers (ME).

This acquisition will allow Booz & Co. to get 145 staff and 17 partners, positioning itself in a highly complementary market not only in Germany but also in the U.S., UK and China.  Its industry expertise and the capability to meet client demands will be reinforced by Management Engineers, company chief executive officer (CEO) Cesare Mainardi anticipated.

On the other hand, Helmut Surges and Hanno Brands, both managing directors of ME, expected the acquisition to boost consultancy approach and improve differentiated capabilities at Booz & Co.
