Final Fantasy Type-1 was reported to have started its development since last month. While release date is yet to be confirmed by Square Enix, the upcoming FF Type-1 will have an overall improved gameplay compared to Type-0. Final Fantasy Type series will have an entirely different path compared to the numbered Final Fantasy.

Based from the earlier reports, Final Fantasy Type-0 has been out last month in North America. There is nothing to excite about the gameplay as it was already been reviewed several times in different posts online. However, towards the end of the series, there was a bit of an observation to hint the arrival of Type-1 sooner or later.

Game director Hajime Tabata has not expressed his affirmations to these claims as of now. However, he already mentioned his desire to continue the game series after Type-0. But there were no official statement yet from Square Enix if they will be pursuing Tabata's desire to continue the FF Type Series.

However, there were several clues that a sequel of the Final Fantasy Type Series is really possible. First, Final Fantasy Type-1 has an unbeatable success when it was released in Japan and in its US port. Any game developer would continue their project if they found out that the game release was a huge success. Square Enix would be one of those developer who would capitalize on the success of their game franchises.

Second, the cryptic video hints a huge indication of an upcoming sequel. The final scene reveals a bloody and bruised Ace who is about to die was embraced by a ethereal being before he transformed to a "deadly samurai warrior." his final words saying that, "We have arrived," may be a teaser for the fans of what awaits the future of the FF Type series.

Because of that line, it stirred the minds of the fans and the gamers alike that there would be a next Final Fantasy series to come soon after Type-0. It may not be named as Type-1 as the rumors may suggest, because it might be possible that Square Enix would find a different title for the sequel. However, it is still suggestive that the game developer would be developing sequel for Final Fantasy series.

If there would be sequel for the same game, it might be named as Final Fantasy Type-1 in PS4 gameplay.
