Did Microsoft Store untimely posted an authentic release date for Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 in their games listing?

Some eagle-eyed anime fans noticed yesterday that Microsoft Store have mentioned in their games listing that Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 will be released on August 18, 2015 but removed it after few hours.

According to Segment Next who has accessed Microsoft Store, there is a chance that the date is not correct and is just a placeholder. On the other hand, the site noted further that Microsoft Store also included 'Tuesday' which is exactly the day where August 18 falls. The date in question poses an argument as to why put up such a date specifically if it was not legit and if it was a placeholder, then why is it listed on a Tuesday where most if not all games are launched in the US?

There is a good chance that this rumour is true because Bandai Namco recently has announced that the release date of the latest entry to the game franchise will be during the Fall season. As revealed by Bandai Namco at the Global Gamer's Day Event, North America will be getting Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 for the PS4, Xbox One, and Windows PC by Fall.

The alleged leak also has shared some details about the game that reads, 

"With new techniques, gameplay, and characters, the anime Ninjas battle better than ever. The game features the biggest roster ever offered with 100 playable characters, including new ones. Learn more about the Creation of the Akatsuki, the Two Uchiha, and more. All the amazing fights and original animation will keep you playing for hours."

As reported earlier, new playable characters for the latest Naruto game. Naruto characters Rin, Obito, and Kakashi will join to make up Team Minato. Together they will join the older versions of Sasuke, Sakura, Hinata, and Naruto where all these characters will also be playable. 

This new game will feature the largest number of fighters in the history of Naruto game series which were also the characters from the fight between Hajirama and Madara. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is confirmed to be released this fall for PS4, Xbox One, and PC in North America and Europe.
