"The Young and the Restless" is gearing up for more exciting episodes, as the fake Jack continues to cause trouble in Genoa City while the real Jack is struggling to escape from his captivity. Will Jack Abbott finally succeed in his plan of escape this time? This article contains spoilers for "The Young and the Restless." Read on for more details.

"Young and Restless" took on quite another surprising turn, as the show recently introduced a fake Jack in Genoa City. Even Peter Bergman, who plays both Yack and Jack Abbott revealed that this evil-twin plot also came as a surprise to him, as he revealed in an interview with TV Insider that he rarely sits down with the writers and discusses the character he is playing.

Bergman also admitted that he initially had doubts on whether or not he could successfully portray two different characters and personalities in one show.

"We ask a lot of an audience when we do these types of stories, and it takes very clever people to make it successful. I didn't know if I was clever enough," he revealed.

Meanwhile, on the latest episode of "Young and the Restless," fans and avid viewers saw an intense encounter take place between Jack and Kelly. Jack attempted to escape from Kelly, as he tries to pull her into a kiss while taking a jab at her neck. Jack also discovered that someone is pretending to be him when he tries to call Kyle, but fake Jack causes trouble once again once he hears the voice of the real Jack Abbott over the phone.

Will Jack finally be able to escape from Kelly? Y&R fans believe so, as there are rumors that Cady McClain, who plays Kelly on the soap, will be leaving the show. In a lengthy Facebook post, McClain said that she is no longer a part of the daytime soap, but later on clarified that it was only a "technical error."

"The Young and the Restless" airs every Monday to Friday on CBS.
