Batman Arkham Knight DLC Xbox One, PS4, and PC Update: Full details revealed: Batgirl playable in final entry to game's trilogy

Full details on Batman Arkham Knight Warner DLC for Xbox One, PS4, and PC platforms have been recently released by Warner Bros. and Rocksteady Studios. 

The Batman Arkham Knight DLC features the prequel story, Batgirl: A Matter of Family while Rocksteady's previous entry, Arkham City, allowed players to be Robin, Nightwing and Catwoman. It can be noted that his is the first time in the Arkham series that Batgirl is a playable character. 

According to a message posted on Twitter, Batman Arkham Knight's Season Pass brings in new content for six months subsequent to the game's release in June, meaning through the end of the year.

This content will take the form of "story missions, supervillains, and more," the developer revealed.

Batgirl: A Matter of Family
An all new prequel story expansion in an entirely new location where you play as Batgirl for the very first time in the Arkham series - check out the first render of Batgirl.

The Season of Infamy
Play as Batman in all new story missions featuring legendary super-villains invading Gotham City, with new story arcs, missions and gameplay features.

Gotham City Stories
Play as Batman's key allies in narrative missions extending their storylines, from both before and after the events in Batman: Arkham Knight.

Legendary Batmobiles with Themed Tracks
Drive the most iconic Batmobiles from Batman's 75-year history, on custom-built race tracks, each themed to that Batmobile's specific era. Every Batmobile will be drivable across every race track.

Crimefighter Challenge Maps
Engage in a series of new challenge maps utilizing the unique play styles of Batman and his allies.

Character Skins
A variety of skins from across the eras for Batman, Robin, Nightwing and Catwoman.

A special Arkham Knight Premium Edition will also be available. This comes with the game and the DLC seson pass and will be sold only through digital channels.The Season Pass will cost $40, while fans have to shell out $100 for the Premium Edition, Gamespot reported.

Batman: Arkham Knight is releasing this June for the PS4, Xbox One and PC following several delays. This final entry in the Arkham Trilogy features a Gotham City taken over by Scarecrow and the mysterious Arkham Knight. Batman and his allies will do what it takes to stop the supervillains.
