Rumors are abound that there will be two iterations of the Sony Xperia Z4 coming out soon: the Sony Xperia Compact and the Sony Xperia Ultra.

While there have been no official announcements from Sony, leaks have come out that there appears to be three versions of the Sony Xperia Z4 depending on the source.

One of the supposed documents observed and pointed out that the names registered E5803, E6683 and E6803 are similar to the previous Z3 Compact (model D5803) and two previous Ultras (C6683 and C6803).

The Sony Xperia Z4 is expected to come out sometime Q2 or Q3 2015 in other regions, but is already made its debut in Japan.

It's safe to assume that the LTE-ready Sony Xperia Z4 will have a 146.3x71.9x7.2mm dimension and a 5.2-inch LCD.

As for the specs, the Sony Xperia Z4 will have an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The shatter-proof display will also support multi-touch (up to 10 fingers).

Behind its Android 5.0 (Lollipop) OS is a Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 chipset are two CPUs, a Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 and a Quad-core 2 GHz Cortex-A57, and an Adreno 430 GPU.

The Sony Xperia Z4 Ultra has a 4GB RAM - the Sony Xperia Z4 Compact has 3GB RAM - and two internal memory options, a 32GB and a 64GB, which are expandable via microSD of up to 128GB.

The Sony Xperia Z4 Ultra has a 20.7MP, 5248 х 3936 pixel main camera and a 5MP secondary camera. Meanwhile, the Sony Z4 Compact is reported to be a 4.7-inch phone and to have a 16MP main camera and a 5MP secondary camera, and a 3GB RAM. The rest of the specs of the Z4 is the same.

Finally, a non-removable 2930mAH Li-Ion battery provides power to the unit. The Z4 is initially available in black, white and yellow.

The Sony Xperia Z4 is expected to have a price tag of around US$630.

Having a Sony Xperia Z4, Sony Xperia Z4 Compact, and Sony Xperia Z4 Ultra is not really a Z4 too many, provided they meet the market's expectations.
