Chris Pratt engages on intense body workout and body building for upcoming movie "Guardians of the Galaxy 2".

We have known Chris Pratt as Peter Quill in "Guardians of the Galaxy" also playing the lead Star Lord after undergoing a complete 360 degree change from being a womanizer to a respectable and responsible leader that the other Guardians look up to.

Following success of "Guardians of the Galaxy", Pratt has been signed into more Marvel movies to which he said, "I don't know exactly it's either seven or eight thousand, it's between seven and eight, I don't know exactly, but I hope we get them all done." coming from an interview by Screen Rant.

Speaking of Marvel movies, avid fans who were hoping for a possible crossover between the Guardians and the Avengers are getting more and more distant as Guardians of the Galaxy Director James Gunn vocally expressed that Guardians of the Galaxy is "self-contained" and is unlike any other Marvel movie ever made which confirms that the option of crossover is far very from his thought.

This is probably the reason why it became a hit as viewers noticed very little similarities between it and most of Marvel - produced films yet never losing the charm and awe for a superhero film like The Avengers and the rest of Marvel creations.

The cancelled team-up is not something to get sad about though as Chris Pratt will surely show us the fruit of his labor - and body - once again on the next otherworldly movie.

He even cut back on drinking and spent his time going to the gym to present a delectable healthy figure fitting for a Guardian in the universe like Star - Lord.

Guardians of the Galaxy has been available on Blu-ray copy since November 9 of last year and the sequel is scheduled to hit the cinemas on May 5, 2017. The hype has long been welling to rise anticipating the meeting between Star - Lord and his father.
