"Castle" is nearing its season 7 finale with uncertainties over its renewal for season 8. Stana Katic posted 24 behind the scenes photos from the ABC series, "Castle" on her Instagram account. On her last photo, Katic posted a photo together with Director Rob Bowman and "Castle" creator Andrew Marlowe, whom she calls as her men, before she goes "radio silent."

"I will go anywhere with these two. Their commitment to great storytelling, their incredible work ethic & their talent made them a dynamic pairing. #Kinetic #Love," she wrote.

According to IB Times, Katic's 24 behind the scenes photos mark her fulfillment of her promise to her fans on Twitter, citing that she would celebrate the filming of the last two episodes of the show for season 7. Katic's last photo also seemed to reveal that Bowman directed the finale episode of "Castle," which is said to be entitled, "Hollander's Woods."

ABC has yet to officially announce if "Castle" will be renewed for season 8, but Nathan Fillion has already confirmed that he would be willing to come back for season 8. Katic has yet to sign another contract if she wishes to reprise her role, but the actress seemed to hint in an earlier report on TV Line that she might not return for the next season.

"I don't think that a show should overstay its welcome... If the character is complete, if there is nowhere else to go creatively, then I think it's better to stop when you're on top, because I admire the way that they did that with The Wire, you know," she said.

Fans commented on Katic's Instagram page, pleading her to sign for season 8.
