"Fifty Shades Darker" will start filming early 2016 but it seems lead stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson are not enjoying each other's company on set while filming "Fifty Shades of Grey." The two were reportedly uneasy with their scenes inside the "Red Room of Pain" and failed to develop rapport with each other. How will this discomfort between the lead actors affect the upcoming sequel?

Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson have been told to prepare on an early 2016 shoot for "Fifty Shades Darker." The two will reprise their characters as the couple Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey. Despite spending long hours while filming "Fifty Shades of Grey," Dornan and Johnson failed to connect with each other, especially in their scenes inside the "Red Room of Pain." Dakota even said that the scenes she did with Jamie were more of a task and she did not feel at ease at all.

"It's not, like, a romantic situation. It's more, um, like, technical and choreographed, and less-it's more like a task," Dakota admits.

Jamie Dornan felt the same way and shared that before doing their scenes in the "Red Room" he would apologize in advance to Dakota Johnson for all the things that Mr. Grey would do to her character.

"Some of the Red Room stuff was uncomfortable. There were times when Dakota was not wearing much, and I had to do stuff to her that I'd never choose to do to a woman."

Critics are also saying that Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson lack chemistry, which is very obvious in their interviews and body language. Dornan however, was quick to address the criticisms and said that E.L. James and then director Sam Taylor-Johnson wouldn't have chosen him and Dakota Johnson if they lack chemistry together.

Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson may have felt discomfort while filming the first movie in the "Fifty Shades" series but it still did pretty well in the box office charts. With or without chemistry, "Fifty Shades Darker" will still push through and has a scheduled 2017 premiere.
