Here are some True Detective Season 2 spoilers you're cringing to know ahead of the show's premiere. Do you remember that time when you were down to the last few seconds of the Season 1 finale? It would be no surprise if everything were still so vivid. You're probably left wondering what's in store. Well, Season 2 of True Detective is fast-approaching and you would want to be updated with what's to come with these spoilers!

The first good news is the date for the premiere is already out. It will air on June 21, giving your Sunday more to look forward to. You would also be glad to know that Nic Pizzolatto will still no doubt be the writer of True Detectives Season 2 where the theme will revolve on "Hard Women, Bad Men, and the Secret Occult History of the US Transportation System."

An even more exciting bit of news would be the cast you will witness this 2nd season. Colin Farrell will be playing Ray Velcoro, who's deemed as the "compromised detective." Vince Vaughn, on the other hand, will star as Frank Semyon, "a career criminal in danger of losing his empire."

Photos have leaked showing Vaughn on set with Taylor Kitsch who portrays Paul Woodrugh, "motorcycle cop involved in a sex scandal." You would have to suspect from this that their roles are linked together. Now, don't think that male celebrities are all you have to look forward to since Rachel McAdams also joins in as Ani Bezzerides, labelled as a "no-nonsense sheriff."

You can check out the trailer HBO has released! It's the 1-minute tease you need to get a feel of the theme with all the serious looks and the environment of crime.
