In appreciation for players who joined the "Enter the Dragon Type Battle Competition" held two weeks ago, Nintendo announced that they will be giving out a free level 10 Amaura Pokémon. This will be available for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire gamers, a gift that can be redeemed by players around all regions. Alhough, this item will only be redeemable in a limited period.

Other than being level 10, the gift pokemon will also have a hidden ability called snow warning. It will allow Amaura to immediately change the weather into a hail storm when entering the battle. Being a rock/ice type pokemon, it has moves like Growl, Powder Snow, Thunder Wave, and Rock Throw.

In redeeming the gift, users will have to go to the Global Link Page where there will be a special page that pops up for eligible players that will contain the redeeming serial code. This will then be inputted in the "Get via Code" function located in the Mystery Gift Tab in the game. Once this is done, the pokemon will immediately be accessible.

Though, eligible players are advised to redeem the gift as soon as possible since it is said to only last until May 31. Once the day of expiration comes, the pop up page containing the serial code will no longer show and for users who had the code but did not immediately redeem the gift, the code will no longer work when inputted in the "Get via Code" function of the game. For players who did not join "Enter the Dragon Type Battle Competition" there is now way for them to acquire the uniquely altered Amaura Pokemon.

This is not the first event where Nintendo gave pokemon gifts for loyal gamers of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Some time ago, Tyrunt, also with a hidden ability, was given to players who took part in an event. There is no saying when the next event will be but make sure to join when there are any.
