Fans of the supernatural drama series Beauty and the Beast will be seeing its return to the small screen on May 21. Viewers should expect a lot of changes once Beauty and the Beast Season 3 airs on The CW.

It was already announced in the previous Beauty and the Beast Season 3 Spoilers that the series will focus on Cat and Vince's new relationship. While it was obvious that both cared for each other, it was only then that the two are now officially together. It was teased that Beauty and the Beast Season 3 will see Cat and Vince trying to have a normal relationship, but there are circumstances which will make this seem impossible. For one thing, Vince has to deal with saving the life of an innocent, but in order to do so, he has to go into his "beast form". Fans of the series know what this does to Vince and Cat's relationship. It will be exciting to see how the pair will manage to cope with the challenges of their fledgling relationship.

Actor Austin Basis, who plays J.T. in the show also teased some minor details as to the changes that the major characters have to deal with during Beauty and the Beast Season 3.

"There's a lot in season 3 that is what I think made the show popular in the beginning and struck a chord with the audience from the onset when we premiered a couple years ago," he said. "So I don't know if it's that we're just getting back to that or if it's we're just giving the fans what they want because they are such a demanding presence--an appreciating presence--when they get those elements of the story that they really truly latch on to." Basis said.

It was also revealed that one of the major characters may meet an untimely death once Beauty and the Beast Season 3 airs. Many of the fans have come to speculate that it is Tess who will be killed off in the upcoming season. It has become apparent that Tess has become the most well-developed character in the previous season. Could she meet her fate in the upcoming season?

"It's great to have writers that will throw curveballs and challenge you. To see if you come out on the other side of the challenge is yet to be seen, we'll find out with the audience but I think there's a lot of stuff that J.T. deals with this season, including his budding relationship with Tess and their navigation through a new relationship, which is more grounded than Vincent and Catherine's epic romance. Their romance is epic because you have this supernatural beast with this woman who has had so much tragedy in her life. Out of their tragedies, they have found each other and have created this bond that is being tested. This bond is being taken to the next level in season 3" he continued.

Beauty and the Beast Season 3 is set to premiere on May 21 on The CW.
