5 Seconds of Summer, an Aussie pop punk band, has recently revealed that they are currently working on their new album to be released before the year 2015 ends. Motley Crue's bassist Nikki Sixx is also working with them as they construct the songs for the album. Furthermore, sources say that even with the band's pact about not have girlfriends, Calum Hood seems to be dating Jennifer Phipps.

There's no doubt that 5 Seconds of Summer has been stealing the spotlight since they graced the music scene last 2014. Like One Direction, the boys too are very close with each other. Recently, Ashton Irwin, posted a picture of him with the band's guitarist, Luke Hemmings on Instagram and referred to the latter as his brother. No doubt this pop punk band is going to stay in the limelight for quite some time, especially with a new album coming up and due to their tight bond with each other.

NEW ALBUM

The band was recently awarded the Best Fan Army Award during the iHeartRadio Music Awards last month. With their growing success, fans have been anticipating for the band to complete their new album in collaboration with Motley Crue's bassist, Nikki Sixx. Currently, they have been recording with her in Los Angeles hoping to release the second album before 2015 ends.

Additionally, with the rising fame and undivided attention, the band's members made a pact by not having girlfriends while they are working their way to the top. Calum Hood, despite the rules, has been linked to various women in Hollywood including Selena Gomez, Stella Hudgens and Maddy Harris. Calum posted a cryptic message in Twitter that he is in love with someone. Some speculation arose that the mystery person is Jennifer Phipps considering that Calum was seen cuddling with Phipps during her birthday party. 

5 Seconds of Summer continues to steal the spotlight in the music industry today. They are currently recording their latest album which is scheduled to be released this year.
