"Captain Marvel" will be flying high and will be included as one of the female superheroes of the Marvel Universe. Carol Denvers is already dominating the comic-book series and will try to dominate the cinematic screens as well by 2018.

Carol Danvers is schedule to make her debut on July 6, 2018 and will be the first-female standalone film from Marvel Studios. Marvel Presidet Kevin Feige revealed that the female superhero is part of the Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Plot.

"This Captain Marvel's name is Carol Danvers," Feige announced. 'This film has been in the works almost as long as Doctor Strange or Guardians of the Galaxy before it came out, and one of the key things was figuring out what we wanted to do with it. He adventures are very earthbound, bet her powers are based in the cosmic realm," he continued.

Several names are being linked to the character. Several blondes from different TV series are already rumored to be a candidate for the upcoming role. Claire Holt from the TV series "The Originals" was once rumored to be playing the role of Superman's cousin, Super Girl. Unfortunately, the role was given to a fellow blonde, Melissa Benoit. Will Claire Holt seal the deal and become a super heroine this time around? Katie Cassidy and Emily Bett Rickards are also rumored to be strong candidate for the role. The two ladies star in the TV series Arrow.

Carol Danvers is doing so great in the comic books leading creators to bring her character further to the Secret Wars. "Captain Marvel and the Carol Corps" debuts on June 10 and will be written by Kelly Sue DeConnick and Kelly Thompson. In the series, Danvers leads a team of elite fighter pilots.

Carol Danvers or Captain Marvel is rumored to be playing cameo roles in the upcoming Captain America 3: Civil War movie.

"Captain Marvel" will be released on cinemas on July 6, 2018.
