A new Spider-Man is in town but he seems to be too busy to be able to film the movie this time around. The Spider-Man film is a go but will most likely be released on cinemas sometime in 2017. A later release date for the said movie is also due to the release of several other standalone Marvel movies. Ant Man, Doctor Strange, Aquaman and Black Panther will appear first in the cinema, thus resulting to the Spider-Man delay.

Dylan O'Brien, the recently hailed Spider-Man is busy filming in his regular television series, Teen Wolf. He plays as one of the lead characters in the MTV series depriving him the luxury of the time to attend to several other things. The young actor is also busy filming for the movie sequel of "The Maze Runner." Even if it was earlier reported that the actor really did his best to audition for the role, his schedule and Marvel's movie calendar are really not available till 2017.

Sony and Marvel's collaboration in the Spider-Man reboot project is also considered as a crucial move. The last two Spider-Man movies did not do well in the cinemas, and a third failure will definitely scar not only the producers of the movie but the iconic character himself.

It was also rumored that a younger version of Peter Parker is what the upcoming movie will feature. No backstories are involved but the plot will most likely be relevant with the other marvel movies in store for the coming years.

As of the moment, our friendly neighborhood is busy in doing cameo roles in several Marvel movies. He will be featured on the upcoming movie Avengers: Age of Ultron and will even have a one on one battle with Iron Man to be able to earn a spot in the team. The superhero is also allegedly appearing in the Civil War movie, Ant Man, Aquaman and Doctor Strange to be able to make his mark in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
