A new male antagonist and a plot away from dragons and gods is what the movie sequel "Prometheus 2" will be. The Weyland executives are still out and greedy for resources and are ready to send another mission outer space. Unfortunately, with this plot confirmed for the upcoming movie, alterations of the script for the movie "Alien 5" is due to happen.

According to the fan-made website of the movie, Premetheus2-Movie.com Neil Blomkamp, the director of the movie Alien 5 had to meet with Prometheus 2 director Ridley Scoot to tweak a few details in the script of the alien film. This according to sources is to avoid the interference of the movie with the plots of the sequel. It has been reported in the past that the Prometheus movie was actually inspired from the events of the 1979 film "Aliens" thus creating a similarity in the setting and plot of the two films.

Meanwhile, according to spoilers, the plot for the upcoming Prometheus 2, written by Michael Green, brings back the audience to LV223, the dreaded and dangerous place that brought death to almost all the crew of the space mission Prometheus. Unfortunately, Weyland Corporation has no plans on turning back and will send another crew to the planet. This time around, a large group of robots and a big pack of military hardware with a few loyal Weyland employees are coming back to get what they want from the planet. A new male protagonist is about to be introduced in the movie that will again put the lives of the crew of the Prometheus 2 in danger.

On the other hand, the cast and crew of the upcoming film is under a lot of pressure in creating a film that would top the box-office achievements of its forerunner movie Prometheus. The earlier franchise released last 2012 earned a $51 million on its opening weekend and a total of $126 million worldwide.

Prometheus 2 is set for the cinemas on the first quarter of 2016.
