Xbox boss hopes that No Man's Sky arrives in Xbox apart from its PS4 exclusive platform. Yet, he shared that it won't be possible though the game has a lot of potential. Thus, it will be pushed to hit screens exclusively in PS4 platform this summer.

Though there is a possibility that No Man's Sky will come in Xbox One, Agostino Simonetta, ID@Xbox European head, said that it might just be in PS4. With that, he also said that it won't be a big loss for Microsoft Xbox since they have a lot of strong line-ups awaiting for their respective releases.

Simonetta said, "Personally, no. We have some exclusives that other platforms don't. Over 1,000 developers have Xbox kit in their office today with over 100 games in development."

He added that he and his team didn't feel any regrets about missing out the upcoming game. Yet, although there was no fixed decision to whatever platform would Hello Games entrust the sci-fi adventure-packed game, they are still open that it might also come in Xbox One. That is, if Sony's PlayStation won't have it as their exclusive.

"Correct. Unless a title can never come to Xbox, because a developer has signed a publishing deal with someone else, any title can come to ID@Xbox," he cited.

"We always get this question. The answer is pretty straightforward - we do understand that developers sometimes need to decide which platform to take first."

No Man's Sky described by critics as an inspiration from the ending of "2001: A Space Odyssey" based from its intro sequence of the game. The entire gameplay, including its visual appearance, everything that composes the game are all by-products of countless algorithms and codes which are part of the procedural art generation game development.

Amid these speculations, Hello Games, the game developer, remains silent to these claims and statements released. Thus, a lot of fans are now wondering, since then, about the progress and in-depth details.

No Man's Sky, labelled as a strong NASA-inspired indie sci-fi adventure-packed game, rumoured to release this summer 2015 in either PS4 or Xbox One platform.
