Meanwhile, a TV series spin-off is already being rumored to be produced after the movie. Fox, the mind behinds popular TV series Empire, American Idol, Glee, Gotham and Bones are already bringing together some of the best loved action stars, both male and female, to create a new band of brotherhood to take on a new kind of adventure, this time on the television screens. The action-drama series will go under the title of "The Expendables TV."

According to deadline via Slashfilm.com, "The Expendables 4" has already received a script order from Fox. The TV series may have to wait for a year or two before they can start working on filming of the series. As for the movie, the plot will basically center on a dangerous mission to stop a group of terrorist rumored to be played by the legendary WWE superstar Hulk Hogan.

Sylvester Stallone is the mind behind these successful movies and has starred in all three of them. The idea of a TV series spin-off adapted from the movie has been floating around for a few years but Fox's involvement is one of the biggest developments in the realization of this TV series.
