Marvel has invested in another standalone movie of one of its favorite heroes, Deadpool. The movie outfit trying to save grace after the "unsatisfactory" performance of "Wolverine" in the box office films is bound to get back and places its hope on Ryan Reynolds who lands on the lead role.

Deadpool will be joined by several "less popular" Marvel heroes like Angel Dust who will be played by Gina Camaro and Colossus who is rumored to be portrayed by Daniel Cudmore. A cameo appearance of a popular X-Men member is also rumored for the movie. Would it be Wolverine?

Colossus and Angel Dust will be reaming up with Deadpool in this movie. Cudmore is rumored to be playing the part but he neither denies nor confirms reports. Angel Dust on the other hand, an underground mutant who possesses super-human strength will be played by Gina Carano. Carano is well-known for her roles in the movies In the Blood, Fast & Furious 6 and Haywire. T.J. Miller from the HBO series Silicon Valley is also rumored to be playing a character in the movie. Ed Skrein from the Game of Thrones is also rumored to have landed on a role in the movie.

Meanwhile, Morena Baccarin from the TV series Gotham has also been added to the rosters of stars for the movie. She snags the role of Deadpool's leading lady. Unfortunately, Deadpool is a lady's man and has several women attached to his name. Morena will be playing either the characters of Domino, Copycat, Siryn or Black Widow. It all depends on which plot 20th Century Park intends to lean into.

The movie is set to be scheduled to start filming this March on Vancouver Canada but sample video clips of Deadpool's adventures and crime fighting moves are already being distributed online.

The movie is set to hit the cinemas on February 12, 2016.
