iPod Touch 6th Gen Release Not Happening as Apple Not Setting This as #1 Priority?

The 6th Gen iPod Touch might not be the number one priority of Apple this year. This is due to the fact that there are other devices that Apple focuses their attention on. 2015 would be a year for Apple to release its latest and grandest gadgets. It is in this year that the Apple Watch, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus update, the Retina MacBook Air, and iPad Pro. With these gadgets in line, the iPod Touch 6th gen would probably be the last in the Apple list this year.

The iPod Touch 6th Gen rumor has been spreading like wildfire since last year. There had been leaks of images of the iPod and it indeed showed that Apple is really working on the upgrade of its music and video player device.

Reports from Master Herald claimed that there would be two models for the iPod Touch 6th Gen. Apple would be releasing a 4.7 inch and 5.7 inch display screen device. The 6th Gen iPod Touch would also come in various colors which includes silver, pink, red, blue, space grey, and yellow.

The iPod Touch 6th Gen is speculated to run with an iOS 8.1.3 operating system. It is said to have a larger screen and display. The battery life has also been improved and it is now longer compared to the previous gens. The iPod Touch 6th Gen will also have an improved security feature for it will be sporting a Touch ID fingerprint sensor.

Apple's flagship media player is crafted to support 1GB of RAM which may be extended to 128GB through using a micro SD. The iPod Touch 6th Gen will also have an improved camera. It will be having an 8-megapixel iSight Camera. The 6th Gen is compatible with the iWatch and like the Apple Watch, the device would be waterproof.

The iPod Touch 6th Gen may not be a priority one of Apple right now but if the company would follow its launching pattern, the device may come out some time on the September of the current year with the price which ranges from $250 to $300.
