2015 is the year of the action. "Furious 7", "Spectre" and the much-awaited "Age of Ultron" are only some of the few giant titles which will be released this year. But the road to the big screen isn't as smooth as the past ones for the "Mission : Impossible 5". With the film's recent pause in production due to 'unsatisfactory' ending, the film lost a lot of time. But as the director and the writers finally carved the ultimate ending for the fifth installment of the series, this film might still have a shot to be released in time.

Reprising their roles with Cruise are Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames. The new bloods are Sean Harris, Alec Baldwin, Rebecca Ferguson.

Tom Cruise spotted shooting night scenes in London

Tom Cruise will be reprising his role as an IMF (Impossible Mission Force) spy, Ethan Hunt. The actor was recently spotted in the streets of London. Wearing a thick leather jacket and his black shirt, Cruise ventured out in front of the iconic Tower of London despite the cold temperature of the night. In the scene, he stays at an outdoor café and instantaneously pulled out his gun and pointed it to the enemy. But the question is, who's the enemy? With the scarce information of the film's plot details, all we can do is guess who the mystery villain is.

The initial release date is just a few months away so we wonder, will the film make it in time? Director McQuarrie assured that despite the halt in production, they are still in schedule. Action film fans are also taking MI5 side-by-side with the upcoming James Bond film "Spectre", which is expected to be the standard for the battle of the ultimate spy movie.

Do you think MI5 can defeat "Spectre" in the spy movie war? Tell us your thoughts below!

"Mission : Impossible 5" will hit the theaters on July 31.
