Michael Schumacher's sold their holiday home for £2 million as the Formula 1 world champion continues to recuperate after being sent to coma for 6 months. The property in Trysil, north of Oslo was sold to a foreign buyer.

Months ago, his wife also sold his private jet for 25 million pounds. The money was reportedly intended to transform his Swiss home into some kind of a medical facility for his faster recovery.

The recently sold house has a spa, a gym, and other luxuries like a whirlpool bath. Additionally, the house also features a fully-furnished kitchen, and a spacious garage that can hold up to 7 cars.

The buyer, not of a Norwegian nationality, was reportedly very glad of his purchase. The property was sold to him for $2.9 million.

Real estate agent Peter Birkrem told The Local that "It was his refuge from the media pursuit he has suffered throughout his life."

It was shortly before Christmas of 2013 when Michael Schumacher hit his head on a rock while skiing at the French resort of Meribel.

His recovery was believed to be painfully slow, although there are no official reports about his real condition as the family refuses to divulge any information. The family even denounced the statement of former Formula One driver Philippe Streif, who claimed that Schumacher is mute and with "limited awareness" of what's happening around him, as reported by Daily Mail.

Reportedly, the family has already spent £10 million for his recovery, but it seems that there's very little progress in his health condition.

The insider added that "there's no miracle in the horizon."

"If you look at severe head injury victims who go on to make a good recovery - and I'm not saying all do - it will always be a story of years," Peter Hamlyn, an expert on head injuries in sport, told Express.

What do you think is the real condition of Michael Schumacher? Is he still in a bad shape?
