Minecraft PC edition gamers get a couple of new title updates available for download that offer bug fixes and several gameplay improvements to the widely played sandbox creation game.

According to PC Gamer, Minecraft update 1.8.2 brings changes in spectator mode where in game mobs no longer react to users and includes how beacons react to bedrock, TNT physics, and spawn locations for animals such as ocelots and squids.

The Update 1.8.2 for Minecraft also equips fans to be aware of new statistics and to know the number of times certain actions have been performed in the game. Following the application of the patch, users will be able to determine the exact number of ocassions that they have done enchantments, open chests, or consumed cake.

The following actions are all now trackable while playing Minecraft.

  • Chests Opened
  • Interactions with Crafting Table
  • Interactions with Furnace

A day following the Minecraft 1.8.2 update, Mojang launched a new patch for the voxel-based game. The studio confirmed last week's second update from the developer's official website to remedy known bugs found within the game.

The team suggests that each player of Minecraft must update their game to bring their download current with 1.8.3 to gain access to bug fixes and improvements offered.

Mojang's Michael Stoyke confirmed on Twitter that update 1.8.3 for Minecraft specifically fixes a crash that was introduced in last update.

"Minecraft 1.8.3 is now available. It fixes a serious bug in 1.8.2 that could cause crashes on world load," Stoyke tweeted.

This new bug fix updates are purposively preparing the game for the soon to be released version 1.9 for the game's original PC edition.

As reported last month by the Inquistr, this next update will offer PC users mechanics that were first unveiled in the console versions.

Specifically, Minecraft's 1.9 update will add improved Ender Dragon behavioral A.I. that was originally developed on Xbox and Playstation.

Minecraft Updates 1.8.2 and 1.8.3 are now available to download.
