Many fans of Naughty Dog's "The Last of Us"wanted the second title to be a spin-off rather than a sequel and to deal with other characters rather than Joel and Ellie again. Gamers were also excited of the alleged exclusive PS4 release of "The Last of Us 2."

In a report, possible plots for "The Last of Us 2" were revealed including the turning Joel into a villain. Also instead of having the original characters return, Naughty Dog might also look into creating a new set of characters with the original characters only doing a cameo.

One fantastic suggestion would be to create a prequel of the series for "The Last of Us 2" plot. One thing would be for sure. It would definitely be a waste if the game developers did not look into creating another title under "The Last of Us" series.

Meanwhile, gamers would be able to get a glimpse of "Unchartered 4" in "The Last of Us." Naughty Dog wanted gamers to focus their attention on the current "The Last of Us" title while a development of the sequel has not yet been put to work.

In the university at "The Last of Us," gamers would be able to see and collect knick knacks that could also been seen at "Unchartered 3." The gamers should be careful, however, that there would be zombies around the academic institution.

Meanwhile, gamers who own "The Last of Us Remastered" would include the "Left Behind" single player DLC. The downloadable content would feature Ellie and a friend exploring an abandoned mall. Speaking of Ellie, she could be heard whistling the "Unchartered" theme at the "Pittsburgh" chapter of "The Last of Us.

With the growing interest over "The Last of Us 2," Naughty Dog would hopefully sit back and think over the possibilities on the game's plot as well as development of new characters to make the game bigger than the last title.
