He also said that he was inspired by The Walking Dead saying that "What I love is how they play with the danger, they play with the scariness, but also the idea that it's always about gauntlet run. And that's something, an element I want to bring to this Ghostbusters reboot is having to get through these various obstacles that are supernatural and all that. I really feed off of The Walking Dead."

Paul Feig revealed that he was thinking of a key supporting role for Strong in the upcoming reboot movie. Reports also state that Strong's role will be part of the main cast aside from the members of the Ghostbuster group and the villain. She will be some kind of n authoritative liaison for the Ghostbuster group and who will be backing up their paranormal activities while covering up for them.

In related news, Dan Aykroyd, a former cast and member of Ghostbusters have revealed that he was excited with the upcoming all-female reboot of "The Ghostbusters". He said in one of his recent interviews that he's "all in for female empowerment" claiming that he's got three daughters himself.

The Canadian actor also expressed his support to Paul Feig and Katie Dippold for creating a wonderful script for the upcoming film. He said that "I can tell you, as the originator, I'm very happy with what he's done," adding that. "It's very tasteful. And it needed a reworking. The thing needed a new engine. You know? It needed new exhaust. It needed new steering."

"The Ghostbusters" is slated for a July 22, 2016 release. The reboot movie will feature an all new female cast and it will take up a whole new storyline compared to the previous films in the franchise.
