HTC One M9 Release Boasts 5.1-Inch Display, 19MP Back Camera, 13MP Front Camera, 23GB Internal Storage, And More

A benchmarking site has recently revealed details of HTC's upcoming flagship smartphone One M9. Specifications include bigger storage size, wider screen resolution, and killer camera specs.

HTC One M9 boasts a 5.1-inch 2560X1440 QHD. This which enables touchscreen with at least five finger gesture support, CompuBench reported.

On top of that, One M9 will possess an impressive 19MP back camera and 12MP front camera for both still and video capturing. In terms of system space, the new smartphone will have 2.6GB random access memory (RAM) and 23GB internal storage.

Aside from the usual autofocus, face detection, flash, and HDR photo, its camera will showcase touch focus.

One M9 will run in Android 5.0 Lollipop and is powered by a 1.9 Ghz octa core MediaTek processor, Imagination Technologies PowerVR Rogue G6200 graphics processing unit (GPU), and OpenGL ES 3.1.

Although no barometer has been reported, features of HTC One M9 will include:

The Taiwanese top smartphone brand previously announced on it will have its slot on March 1's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain to debut its new flagship smartphone alongside One M9 Plus.

One M9 Plus will make use of MediaTek's most potent new chip, a 64-bit processor with eight Cortex-A53 cores codenamed MT6795, and a PowerVR G6200 Rogue GPU. It will also run in Android 5.0 Lollipop with 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 20MP back camera, and 13MP front camera.

MT6795 can support 720p video recording at up to 480 frames per second and is suitable for high-resolution displays and content.

Elsewhere, Samsung's Galaxy S6 Edge has bested all other smartphones and tablets by storm with its 5,375 multi-core points on Geekbench, including LG's G3 and G Flex 2, HTC's Nexus 9 and One (M8), relatives Galaxy Note 4 and S5, Meizu's MX4 Pro, Motorola's Nexus 6, and Sony's Experia.
