NBC's hit family drama series, Parenthood, has finally reached season 6 finale this week and will be topping off the show after six long years.

Cast members Peter Krause and Erika Christensen have both teased some spoilers to the avid viewers on what they can expect from the last episode titled, 'May God Bless and Keep You Always.'

According to Christensen, there will be a time jump that will happen to depict the distant future of the Bravemans.

"At the end of the finale, there's a flash-forward essentially," Erika Christensen said. "you press the fast-forward button on the Bravemans and see a few years of that blooming of the family. It gives me chills. It's about three years. It's awesome."

Christensen who plays the role of Julia in the series further revealed that she was very emotional as well as the rest o the cast while filming Parenthood season 6 finale episode.

"There was so much crying. The whole family was together on an earlier day and that scene, where the family was together for the last time, everyone was bawling. It was out of control, to the point where everyone was cracking up because it was so ridiculous," she added.

Cast member Peter Krause also spills that he anticipates that mixed reactions and emotions will be drawn from the fans.

"I think some people will be really satisfied, and I think other people..won't be," he said.

On the other hand, executive producer Jason Katims said that the series finale will be "bittersweet" and "uplifting."

"The episode is also a way of really honoring the whole series. There are callbacks in the episode to things we've seen from the very beginning of the show. Baseball, for example, plays a role in the final episode and that was something that we saw in the pilot and then later throughout the first couple of seasons, when Max was playing baseball and Drew played baseball and later, once Victor came into the family, baseball became his way into that family in a way, so we call back to that. It's also a big episode that has lots of scenes of the entire family together, more so than what's usual, kind of like the 100th episode," Katims hinted.

As for Zeek's (Craig T. Nelson) health condition that becomes unstable based on how his heart ailment continues to trouble him during the previous episode, fans are already left wondering if he will die in the finale.

To find out, don't miss Parenthood Season 6 finale this Thursday, January 29, on NBC.
