Move over Snow White and Red Reding Hood, Belle will appear in theaters comming soon in the persona of Emma Watson. The actress just announced through her Facebook that she's going to appear in Disney's live action film Beauty and the Beast. This means the magic continues for Watson who catapulted to stardom via her character Hermione Granger and will follow  Kristen Stewart, Lily Collins, and Amanda  Seigfried who were all appeared fairy tale heroines before.

"I'm finally able to tell you... that I will be playing Belle in Disney's new live-action Beauty and the Beast! It was such a big part of my growing up, it almost feels surreal that I'll get to dance to 'Be Our Guest' and sing 'Something There'. My six year old self is on the ceiling - heart bursting. Time to start some singing lessons. I can't wait for you to see it. Emma xx," as stated on Watson's Facebook status.

Just few hours after she posted the message, Netizens and fans are already going gaga of this newest project for UN Women Goodwill Ambassador. However, this is not the first time that Watson is being link to a B & B project.  In 2013, Guillermo del Torro was first tasked to direct this film under Warner Brothers and they already targeting the actress as Belle. Obviously, the plan didn't prosper and now "the Beauty" is already with Disney, the Twilight saga director Bill Condon will direct it and reportedly, Emma's Perks of Being Wallflower director Stephen Chbosky does the script.

It was remembered that Disney's Beauty and the Beast animation was brought to big screen in 1991, while other similar film adaptation of this story was Beastly starring Vanessa Hudgens and Alex Pettyfer in 2007. Meanwhile, Watson is the latest star who engaged with a live action reboot of famous fairy tale character.   Kristen Stewart and Lily Collins played Snow White in different films, while Amanda Seigfried played in darker Red Riding Hood movie.
