"The Last: Naruto the Movie" Spin-Off is slated for an August release this year. Hero of the new era will be the son of Naruto named "Bolt" along with the new generation of leaf ninjas including the daughter of Sasuke and Sakura, Salada.

Fans of Naruto knows that "The Last: Naruto the Movie" tells the story of the time gap between the last three chapters of the Naruto Manga. The last chapter of the manga shows the new generation of ninjas which includes Bolt/Boruto, his sister Himawari, Salada and the children of Naruto's friends. Crossmap reported that the son of Naruto will be filling up a big role considering that he is the son of the seventh Hokage and the prince of the Hyuga Clan. It was further reported that the film is set during the time when Bolt/Boruto was first shown in the Manga.

Mangaka Masashi Kishimoto, the creator of the Naruto Manga, earlier mentioned that he is already making plans for the future of Naruto Universe which will include Bolt. He said that "I'm frantically thinking up a story for Bolt," adding that "I've not even had a chance to catch my breath after finishing the series." He also mentioned that Salada will be involved with the proposed project since there is a special bond between Bolt's parents and Salada's parents.

According to Latin Times, the new movie will hit the theaters this coming August 2015 and the whole project is called "Naruto Shin Jidai Kaimaku Project" or "Naruto: The New Era Project". Even though the movie release date is still months away, rumors are already circulating that the antagonist for the Naruto Spin-off film will be the illustrious Orochimaru.

Orochimaru is a fan favorite villain considering that he had a major role in the character development of Naruto and Sasuke since the beginning of the Naruto Manga. His techniques and fighting skills are also in a different level compared to the other villains in both manga and film. However, since Naruto became the seventh Hokage, he had also gained in power. It will be an interesting to see the Hokage Naruto fight the New Orochimaru in the upcoming film.

"The Last: Naruto the Movie" Spin-Off will be the future of the Naruto Universe. Hopefully fans will receive the new generation of ninjas well as much as they have loved the previous generation.
